The following is a description of the professional performance values that one must possess to work at Lighthouse Learning Center:

Performance Values Held at Lighthouse Learning Center

Commitment to quality is demonstrated through all of our interactions and relations with children, parents, and co-workers.  This commitment is shown through support of Lighthouse Learning Center programs, procedures and policies as well as through dedication and support of accreditation.

The health and safety of every child entrusted to our care is the number one priority at Lighthouse Learning Centers.  It is the most important service we provide.  There is no compromise here.  Understanding and following established policies and procedures at all times with our children – in the classroom, on the playground, and on field trips—is critical to successful child care center and school age operations.

Customer satisfaction

Our daily interactions with potential and existing parents, children and co-workers demonstrate our total commitment to customer satisfaction.  As we consistently act with integrity, we will ensure credibility in all of our relationships.  The key is to always treat others as we ourselves would like to be treated.

Teamwork and Employee Satisfaction.

Commitment to this performance value is demonstrated by your support and positive interactions with your supervisor and co-workers.  It is also reinforced by your participation in activities and you sharing of new ideas which contribute to Lighthouse's success.

Commitment to accountability means managing your responsibilities in a mature manner.  In other words, making decisions based on "doing the right thing" and taking responsibility for those decisions.  This is demonstrated through meeting and or exceeding performance expectations, and showing a daily commitment to Lighthouse Learning Center's mission and values.

We believe the strength of our program is the dedication of our teaching staff.  We support our teachers with training, resources and freedom to create a unique learning experience for children.  We provide many opportunities for teachers to share ideas and grow professionally.  Our teachers create a caring and nurturing atmosphere and foster each child's creativity and positive self-image.

We support teachers who are eager to learn more and expand their knowledge through seminars and college by providing college tuition assistance,  higher than average salary, benefits, advancement, free child care for their own children, and by providing a loving, friendly place to work.
